Wired Buzzing Noise From Right-Front Side of the Car
Hello, I am driving a recently purchased 2018 ES 350 and found a weird buzzing noise from the right-front side of the car. The buzzing noise is very short and completely random, lasting about 1 second. If I am streaming music when driving then chances are I will not notice that "short, random" noise.
Later I realized that whenever adjusting the A/C temperature (e.g. from 23 °C to 24 °C), it will generate the "same" buzzing noise for about 1 second.
I don't really care of having the buzzing noise when adjusting the temperature but the same wired noise that show up randomly is a bit annoying. Sometime I can hear it 2-3 times in a minute and it is definitely not very pleasurable... Tried to turn off temperature AUTO mode but it did not help...
Any experience on this?
Thank you!

Don’t know about the 350 but there are all sorts of weird buzzing sounds from the 300h. None due to the AC but mostly due to the vacuum booster for the power brakes. On the 300h this is electric because the engine is not necessarily on all the time. Don’t know how they do it in the 350.

If I listen closely enough, I can also hear random buzzing sounds that are not related to the HVAC changing temps/vents. That is the most common buzzing sound I hear (HVAC)
But I've learned to ignore them due to all the modern electronics and gadgets in modern cars. If something breaks, I'll fix it but nothing so far after 77k miles on my 2013 ES350.

Thank you very much zes and HouseB328. I found if I lower the climate temps, the buzzing sound seems to be much less often then before. I don't think it is something broken and it is more like a "normal" sound according to your input. Thanks again.

Before buying my GS in '15 I had a Subaru Outback. This car was the one I first noticed tinnitus in. Driving it made me crazy as a combination of wind and road noise. I drove every model Lexus there was and the only one I felt both comfortable for my bad back and quiet was the GS. I founds the ES to be for me noisy. Tires can also help, Pereli Cinturato P 7's are very quiet and are my go to. good luck
