It might depend on your options like the dynamic cruise control that has a camera mounted to the right of the rear-view mirror. Most insurance companies cover replacement, you may want to check with them and ask for OEM glass.

Apparently, (in Canada at least) only OEM windshields are available. Before signing up for auto glass insurance I checked several suppliers and they all came back with OEM only, for my 14 ES350 (loaded) they were all in the $1000 to $1200 range.

From a previous thread, I too replaced my cracked windshield using Lexus OEM. Est. cost of $1000 - $1200.
But wait, there's more.....the need to re-calibrate any of the features attached to the windshied (above mirror)can only be done by Lexus. Est. cost $200-$300..
In total around $1,500. Definitely file a claim and based on where you live and your coverage some portion will be covered.
