Hi guys,
I lhave learned that I purchased a wrong oil filter only after I drained the oil.
I had no choice but reuse the old oil filter cartridge.
The correct oil filter will arrive in few days.
Do you know if I will be able to replace the filter without draining the oil?
Thanks.

You will lose a small amount of oil that is inside the filter. Don't remove the oil pan drain plug. Just spin off the filter assembly, the entire filter assembly, pour out the oil inside, remove the "O" ring around the top of the assembly and replace it with the one that comes with the new cartridge, insert the new cartridge and spin it back on. Check the dip stick before starting the car and add oil as needed to bring it up to the full mark. Should take no more than 20 minutes and a small amount of fresh oil.
GOOD LUCK!
