in Denver they've been going through a major repavement of the only main interstate (baiscally) for months and loose chippings are literally everywhere.
and people on the interstate drive like madmax. this morning was no exception and might have been the heavy rain shower we had last night, that just made these loose chippings insane this morning. flying off everywhere. sure enough, when i got to work and inspected the front end, tons of small damages. guess i should be thankful the windshield didnt crack. im going to avoid the section of the interstate at all costs now but the lesson is learned too late.
just a rant this morning.

I feel your pain, I'm located in Denver as well and very familiar with the construction going on. I avoid it like the plague if I'm not in a rush.

I hate that happened to your car newyerker, but like someone else said... chips and dings from the road are just inevitable.. no way around it. a couple of months back I was driving on the interstate...only one vehicle ahead of me.. as I started to change lanes to pass them, I heard a big "CRACK"... Apparently had a rock thrown up from the car in front and took a chunk of glass out of my 4 runners wind shield... fortunately glass company was able to fix it without replacing it...but for about 3 seconds there I thought the windshield was going to explode.
