Do any Lexus cars have buttons like these?

No, not only the metal buttons, also the plastic ones.
They look better, they feel better and they sound better.

Thanks. I hadn't thought about the buttons before. But you bring up some interesting points. And when you posted the picture of the Audi's buttons, it was easier to see the difference.

You are right, Lexus can improve its buttons like to be like those.

Probably the closest thing would be the Eco-Normal-Sport mode dial / button, right?

That dial is fine, also the buttons on the steering wheel and the buttons for media, radio etc are nice, just the ones to the left of the steering wheel. They look out of place and not in line with the rest of the interior.

How are those buttons different than the A/C or climate control buttons?

To me they feel cheaper, the plastic feels like it’s from a different car and the click sound they make doesn’t sound as nice and “dull” as the others.

The new ES fixes a lot of those interior trim issues while also looking drop dead gorgeous from the outside.

Can you post some pics comparing the interior, especially if they address the issues OBLexus raised?

Mine is a 2013 ES350 UL. 88k. Still very quite smooth and Zero Noise. No rattles and squeaks or problems.

Great review. Thanks!

My 2013 doesn't either. Maybe you were just unlucky.

I had a look today. The new ES looks amazing inside and out! I really like it!
However, the plastic around the window buttons hasn’t improved in quality - it’s gone from glossy to matte, which will probably help to prevent scratches, but the quality itself is the same.
Have a look at the photo.

Love the power folding mirror option. I wish we could get that in the US.

Sorry guys... didn’t realize it was such a big deal.
