i have ES300h 2014, with almost 44K Miles, when i assign the car on Sport mode especially after having a full acceleration, i notice check engine appear with alarm code of P0011 - Advanced Camshaft Timing, i check with the local dealer, they told me that you need only to reset the alarm and it will not affect any issue,
ist the right approach to keep resetting this alarm, without having any troubleshooting, keeping in mind that the alarm is rarely appears

I would find another dealer or a more experienced Toyota tech. My ES300h is about the same age and mileage but it has never thrown that code, even with plenty of Sport mode hooning. Camshaft related issues would be incredibly rare on the ES and Camry hybrids.

There is a Lexus TSB (ID#: TSB ID: L-SB-0096-14) to address this issue. The fix is to update the engine computer software. I had it done on my 2014 ES300h at 60k - now at 90k and the problem did not reoccur.
The issue is covered under Federal 8-year/80,000mi emission warranty - so it should be free to you.
Full TSB can be viewed here:

I am also attaching a copy in case the link becomes dead.

Thanks for the link. Now I remember that my ES300h did show the Check Engine light years back, about six months after purchase. The light didn't go away and I brought it to the dealer. They did an ECU flash upgrade which fixed the problem.
I keep an OBD reader in the car now so I can check error codes and check the health of the electrical systems.
