Default shock failure, 20k miles

2016 ES300h with 20k miles. I’ve been noticing rear suspension noise over uneven surfaces. Then, the dreaded oil puddle under the rear of the car. Dealer confirmed leaking shock. That was a week ago. Apparently, the part has to be shipped by motor freight since gas shocks are considered hazardous for air delivery. Wouldn’t you think a part as common as an ES shock would be more readily available? Sure, I have a loaner, but it’s annoying.
Oh, btw, they texted me to authorize the following additional work while the vehicle is at dealer’s:
wiper refills, $40.00
alignment and balance, $180.00
20000 service, $280.00 (I had it done elsewhere)
A/C refresh, $90.00

What the hell is an A/C refresh? And why would your car require alignment and balance at 20k miles? Wipers (not refills) at Walmart, Bosch @ 2 for $20.00.
Please tell us you didn't bite for these unnecessary suggestions... I'd find another dealer...

That's why dealer service departments love warranty repairs, especially when you have to wait for a part. Someone has to pay for that loaner.

The stock wiper inserts are like $4 at the dealer.

No reason to, and the OEM blades are way better than any aftermarket blades I've ever tried. I've tried them all, Bosch, Michelin, Rain X, Trico, Valeo, PIAA...I always come back to the OEM blades.
