You can replace them with OEM refills from Lexus or buy them at Walmart - which I do... I buy Trico Exact Fit or Bosch and they run about $20.00 for two... Takes less than 15 minutes to snap them on...You can buy wipers for the time of year such as Winter wipers, Summer wipers, etc... You're in N.Y. so your winters are as bad or worse than Pennsylvania...

I just went to my local Toyota dealer. (I have been going there a long time since have previously and still do own some Toyotas) They installed them for very low price, but had a bit of a time putting them on. I had assumed Avalon and ES shared same wipers, but not sure that is the case now.

Looks like they would do. Just make sure you get the right size - in inches... Driver side is different from passenger side.

Here's a secret that will save you some money...if you buy a set of wiper refills at Pep Boys they will install them for free at the store. I've done this several times.

That's a good tip. I think several other auto stores do this as well. Maybe Advance and Autozone...

I like the Bosch brand. I have a 2013 ES and have replaced mine twice so far. They seem to last a good 1-2 years for me, just depending on how much it rains and how often I'm having to use them. The price can vary, but I just do a google search to find where I can get a set for the cheapest (it's usually Wal-Mart or Amazon). Check out some Youtube videos on how to change your wiper blades. It's real easy and takes less than 5 minutes to change both wipers. Make sure to set them in winter mode before changing your wiper blades (you can look at more Youtube videos showing how to do this; it takes 5 seconds). It's much easier this way.

Default Wiper Blade Replacement

I haven't tried to replace the blade inserts on my 2013 myself. I have only had the Lexus dealer do it. I previously owned a 2007 ES350 and I tried several different Bosch wiper replacements for it. None of them worked right even though the Bosch dealer swore they were the correct size and fit. Also, if you replace the entire wiper arm with a Bosch or whatever brand equivalent, you will pay a lot to replace that with a Lexus one, if you don't hang onto it. You can get wiper blade inserts from the parts department at a Lexus dealer. They cost more than any aftermarket ones, but not a lot more. However, you know they will work properly. The parts guy at the Lexus dealer will probably offer to replace them for you, but it isn't hard to figure out how to do it. I like saving money on parts and repairs, but wiper blades has not been a good place to do that for me. Just my experience-yours may be different.

If you want to go with oem Lexus wiper inserts and don't want to go to the dealer try e-bay. I recently I found a pair for $18 and $22 with shipping.

I recently replaced the original blades on my '14 with OEM inserts purchased on ebay from a Lexus dealer for $18. Swapping the inserts is fairly straight forward if you pay attention to the removal and replacement process. Videos on You-tube too.

When they dry out and make a scraping sound on the glass. Also when they don't clear the water off completely.

The part you want is a 26" Rain X Weatherbeater wiper for the driver's side. Here is the part number from Amazon Rain-X RX30226 Weatherbeater Wiper Blade, 26" (Pack of 1)
