One other detail, when I switch from cabin air to outside air it seems I don't get the smell "STRANGE"
I hate to tell you this but a "rotten egg smell" is indicative of a bad catalytic converter. I suppose it could be something else, but more often than not, it's the converter.

+1 - A blocked cat smells just like rotten eggs. Especially since the smell increases with hard acceleration.

Default Same Problem

Also, let me expand on info I put in my post: A few weeks ago, I pulled out the spare tire to see if the smell might be coming from the well. The well was dry and there was no flakey green stuff, and I didn't see the white water-border that is visible now. But I did notice that the rubber tape-looking stuff was moist in a few spots. The pictures I posted are of the car yesterday. There hasnt been any flooding that the car has driven through since the first time I checked (or anytime I've owned it), but it has been parked on the street while we had on and off rain - Which makes me strongly suspect that water is getting in somehow while it's raining.

The smell gets worse / strongest every time it rains... and seems to get milder when its hot for a few days. I appreciate all the replies, but does anyone have any insights or answers that aren't related to "prior flood damage" as a possible cause of the smell?
I am experiencing the exact same problem and it only occurs after it rains. All of the flooding discussions are not applicable.

What you guys need to do is to wait for a few sunny days any open the trunk in the sub and let the trunk dry out completely.
You can even rent one of those floor drying blowers that all rental places have and set it so that it completely dries the trunk.
Then you need to go to a self service car wash with $10 worth of quarters and start blasting water on the roof near the sunroof area and also the back where the trunk lid is. Do this for 15 -20 mins until your quarters run out.
Then drive out to a bright location. Dry the top of the trunk and rear window thoroughly with a towel. Then carefully open the trunk and make sure water does not dribble in. Inspect the trunk carefully.

If you have water or wetness then you either have a drain issue or a trunk seal issue. There are previous threads on how to clear out sunroof drains.

If there is no moisture then there may be moisture coming back up from the trunk train.

If you have had a smell before, you will need to rip out all the foam at the bottom because it already has mold. If you get a smell when it rains you already have mold in your trunk. Only way to get rid of it is to get rid of porous material like foam and then clean the metal parts with bleach.

When the source of water intrusion has been eliminated, rent or buy an ozone generator to remove any residual mold and mildew and eliminate any odor
