2013 ES350 front wheel hopping, typically between 30-50 mph. It feels like if you hit a very small bump, then tire begins to hop, loss of traction. I have felt it in a straight or a turn. I believe I feel it more on drivers side then passenger. Replaced front struts, tires fairly new Pirelli p7s. The problem is intermittent which does not help. Any suggestions?

Have you had all of the front suspension components checked for bent or loose parts, especially since you replaced the front struts?? Tire(s) may have a separated belt, or need balancing again.

I replaced the the front struts thinking this was the reason, not so. 4 wheel alignment was done at this time. The tires are new as of August. I will have the tires and suspension inspected again. Thank you for your feedback!

If you had a scanner that could monitor wheel speed sensor, you can see if any of the sensors intermittent act up. Of course check for any speed sensor wiring and connector, may be rubbing through or on something or corrosion in the connector. Can cause a wheel to pulse because it thinks the wheel is locking up.

I'd check the tires and rims first.
More likely a bent rim than a strut

Interesting, l noticed it a little intermittently with the Michelins, however with the Pirellis it is more intermittently prevalent. tires have been rotated. Is it possible the rubber compound on the Michelin Primacys promotes better traction then the Pirelli P7s? Just so weird sometimes I will go for days without it occurring, after which it will occur regularly, then stop again. Master Tech at Lexus mentioned potentially a bad axle..Thank you and others for the feedback?
