While the user manual says that I can select various split-screen configurations for my Home Screen, every time I start the car I get a full screen Navigation map. I've selected a split screen of Music left and Navigation right. What am I doing wrong?

 

When you switch off the car, what mode is the screen in?
My 2018 ES remembers the last selected screen and starts again with that.

 

It's in the split-screen Media/Nav mode that I want as my home screen mode. But when I start the car again it's always in full-screen Nav.

 

That’s not how mine is behaving - not sure what’s going on. I think there is a way to do a “hard” re-boot of the system, maybe that would help. But I forgot how to do that, maybe someone else can help.

 

Mine always starts on the navigation screen as well. 2016 ES300h. I thought that was normal?

 

Everything I've read indicates this is normal. You have to click the Home button to get to the home screen...it always starts on full-nav and cannot be changed. Kind of annoying, but not a big deal.

 

Our 2015 always starts on the audio settings/radio. There is a setting in the menus to control this. I believe it is under the general settings, scroll down to “Auto Screen Change” and set it to Off.
