Can you customize your startup image on a 2014 lexus es 300h without navigation? I have followed all the procedures with the usb and the file with the folder "Image" but it doesn't seem to recognize it. It is as if it only has enough room for the two images that are already in the system.

I don't have my USB stick with me, but from what I remember, the system is very picky about how you name the folder. You may want to try to add and S to Image or rename it to StartupImage - case sensitive
Also, looks like this may only be an option for models w/Nav

I happen to update my image over the weekend so I have this handy.
Keep in mind, this is what is stated in the manual with Nav. Not sure if its applicable to the non Nav ones too.
When saving image files to a USB memory to be transferred to the navigation system, save the images in a folder named “Image” (I-m-a-g-e, case sensitive). If a different folder name is used, the navigation system will not recognize the image files.
The compatible file extensions are JPG and JPEG.
An image’s file name, including file extension, can be up to 32 characters.
Image files of 10 MB or less can be transferred.
Up to 10 images can be transferred to the navigation system.
Hope this helps

@dslaughter you mentioned in your original post that it has 2 images and looks like it only has space for 2. So is there an option to delete an image? If there is, maybe delete the least fav one and see if that makes some space there. I know the Nav ones do have the delete option obviously so you could delete and replace the images that you uploaded but don’t recall if you could delete the ones that it came pre-loaded from the factory.

I tried but didn't see any way to delete those either. I am almost thinking this may be a service department accessed feature only for the model without Nav. Has anyone ever had this situation on this model year without Nav?

I have a 2017 without Nav and was able to add an image. I did have to delete the image that was there first. Wish I could remember the menu steps. It was not intuitive.
Will check later and report back if I can retrace my steps.
