Hi everyone,
I have es300h 2014. The problem is that the bluetooth gets disconnected after a min or two. And only gets connected if i restart my car means i have to kill the power for the audio system.
Has Anyone experienced same problem?
My phone is samsung s9+
Thanks

How frequently or recently have you turned your phone completely off?
Cycling the phone once a week or so will greatly enhance the connectivity.
How does the car's ID show up on your phones Bluetooth screen?
It should mirror the (changeable) car screen name "Lexus ES" or "Car Multimedia"
If it has changed to "Car Accessory" or similar you have a faulty BT pairing.
Delete the car from the phone and the phone from the car and repair.
Be certain to wait to see the matching car ID name in the phone before
tapping Accept or Pair.

Wife just paired her Iphone 7 or 8 up with our '13 ES350 this week due to a new law for TN (hands free), and today I drove the car on errands. The big screen had a message of "portable player disconnected" when I started the car up in the garage. Wife's phone was in the house at least 10 yds/30 ft away from the car, I had my Iphone with me but it is NOT paired with the car. I did not notice the disconnect message on the errand run with several stops. Is this normal or should we re-pair her phone.??

Car's id: CAR MULTIMEDIA
I will try deleting both and repairing

iPhone 5s, ‘14 ES 350 with Nav. Using “Lexus” or “Car Audio” for the 350 or wife’s RAV4, my phone connects seamlessly to either. No need to turn ON/OFF, just get close enough for BT to pick up the signal. Only time I need to select is when two or more previously paired devices are in the vehicle with BT turned ON on the device(s).

You can restart the multimedia by pressing and holding the power button, no need to restart the car. Also try clearing the connected device history on the car. is all else fails try disconnecting the battery of the car for 10 mins and /or resetting the phone network settings.

When pairing the phone, it should say “LEXUS ES” in the Bluetooth list on the phone (I’m going by what it says on my iPhone). If it says something else, I would delete all connections to phone and try pairing again.
I sometimes have an issue with my phone automatically resuming music playing when running errands. Seems like the third time I start the car, the music doesn’t start playing right away. I usually shut off the app on the phone, amazon music, and restart it to get it playing again. Music info is displayed on cars screen it just won’t play.
I also noticed a problem where the system would freeze completely (can’t change source, no volume control, no nav, can’t turn off, etc) until I turn off the car and turn it back on. Going to have dealer check it next time I take it in for service since its CPO. Anyone else have their multimedia system freeze?
