Default TPMS Re-learn for new wheels and sensors 2016

Hello everyone! Newbie to CL and this is my first post! I recently bought a new set of wheels and tires for my 2016 ES and they came with new TPMS sensors. Does anyone know how to re-learn the sensors or point to another thread that has this info? I tried to reset them by pressing the button under the dash, but the light in the dash only turns off for a couple of days and then comes back on. I tried turning the car to the "on" position, hold the button down till the TPMS/Tire light flashes, but it only turns the light off and the tire pressure on the dash shows "--" next to the PSI. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance

If the sensors can’t be cloned to match the original ones (your tire dealer/supplier should know and should have done it) then you are in for a trip to Lexus dealer for programming.

I bought the wheels online so it looks like I need to make a trip down to the dealer....

Before you spend double or triple the money at a Lexus dealership, take it to a local tire store; they can probably do it for $15-$20 per wheel.
