Driver door buzz ding when open and vehicle turned off but power accessory on ?
is there a way to stop the beeping and buzzing when you leave the door open but the power or accessory mode of vehcile is turned on and vehicle is turned off ?
is this one of the settings that i could change using one of those carrisa devices or the dealership could set to not do so in the settings?
i read threw the settings again for customization and i didn't see this in there that i could find but maybe i just missed it i do have a reading disability that sometimes causing me to nor process some things at times.

This is a safety/security feature designed to prevent you from leaving the vehicle with the power on. It continues even if you shut the door... I know of no way to disable it, and for me, I'm glad I have it as I've already left the power on and tried to leave but heard the alarm and shut it off... = no dead battery....

only reason i was hoping there was a way to do so was cause i drive uber and i spend sometimes a few hours at a time sitting in the car and like to sit with the door open at times but i understand that its good for saftey cause if the battery dies thats not good aspeicaly if it dies to many times cause i dont know how it would affect the hybrid batter but i do know the 12v is like 450 to replace
luckily it was already bad and the dealership replaced it last month under Base warranty so now i have atleast 4 years not to worry cause in my experienes i have never had a car battery last more than 5 years and most of the time they last 4 years.
? when the hybrid batter converter inveter is active that means the engine is shut off and no fuel is being used at all or is there still some fuel burning when just sitting around and the hybrid is whats running the car ?
