Default Problems with new tint job

Hey all. Just got back from picking my car up after a tint job and noticed some possible problems. They cut around the rear upper break light (which is fine) but the plastic area of it looks dirty now. Could this be from the slip solution used? Is there a way to access this area to clean it?

Also all of the lines on the rear defroster are now reflecting light from headlights making all of them light up now. Not sure if it is streaking or not-have never had this problem before. Any insight on this? Thanks!

The defroster lines will do that, did it on mine. You'll get used to it though. Around the brake light, that's probably from the liquid they use during application, I think it's just soapy water.

Give it a few days to dry out. If you have issues after a week of drying take it back. Normally use just soap and water.

you can remove the light assy by sliding it to the left or right, I do not exactly recall. Clean the area andreassemble.

Park your car outside in the sun and it should dry.

great tip-thanks!

yeah looks like the bubbles are gone but still getting the reflections on the defroster lines. Didn’t have that on my 09 es when I got it tinted. I’m guessing either a lesser tint brand was used or that the defroster lines are thicker on this generation.
