I just purchased a 2016 es 350 with 21k on the ticker. I made a huge mistake by not buying from the dealer and thus getting a certified car with bonus warranty but I cant go back now. The car is awesome and I will be keeping her for a long time. I have a company car for during the week so the Lex is just for cruisin on the weekends....garage queen.
My question is since I only have 15 days left on my warranty is there any reason to take her in to the dealer for a look? I asked them about a diagnostic and they said they would do pre purchase inspection.....$360........If money were no option I would have it done because I am that kind of paranoid person. But if the 2016's have not been having any issues I will pass.....
I am going to do another post on this.......but I am unfamiliar with the sounds that this car makes so I will ask........I can hear a high pitched whining sound at low speeds.....it sounds like an old school power steering noise......is this normal.....are u guys hearing this faint sound at low speeds? Note.....the sound is not while turning the wheel.....

IMO you made the right decision in not purchasing a CPO vehicle. First, you would have paid more... Second, you're saying that the car you bought is fine with no issues. Most Lexus cars stay that way for a long time. If you do have a genuine issue with the car then take it in for a warranty repair. Otherwise, enjoy the car (on the weekends) and create a money fund for future repairs by putting a few bucks away each payday if you intend to keep the car for a length of time... They don't break very often... GOOD LUCK with the new wheels...

Ok then........I will let it ride. My previous car a 04 LS430 was a peach so the ES has some big shoes to fill in which she is doing a fine job so far. She is already very spoiled and will live an easy life under my care.
