Default BSM Blind Side Monitoring

Blind Spot Monitoring, so my mom has a 2017 Lexus ES and when the BSM in on and she hits the turn signal there is no audible alert. She had driven one that had an audible alert. Any insight on how to make the audible noise? Thanks for the insight.

For the Generation 6 ES, there is no audible alert of any kind at any time for the Blind Spot Monitor.

I had a 2013 ES for 3 1/2 years, and I now have had a 2017 ES for 3 1/2 years, and I'm quite certain that there is no audible alert or setting to turn one on.

On the other hand, there is the option to have an audible alert with the lane departure warning system. Could you be mixing up the blind spot monitor and the lane departure warning? For the lane departure warning, the option to have an audible alert is in the settings for the multi-information display that is in the middle of the main instrument cluster.
