Default Key fob battery preference

Most of you have a preference for key fob batteries I'm sure. These batteries have a wide range of uses so which have you found to be better for car key fobs. Energizer? Panasonic? Is the OEM battery for the car key fob Panasonic? Stay safe in these crisis times by the way.

My dealer supplies batteries for free. Otherwise if I can't get there I buy the cheapest name brand battery. Panasonic, Energizer, Sony, etc. All the same to me...

that's nice of them, my mom sent her honda in and they charged her 5$ to change it and I researched and found that all my family's cars use the same battery and a pack of them is only a few bucks so might as well buy and swap em out. Since I bought my CPO 2 years ago I've had no reason to change the battery but it doesnt hurt to have them in case instead of scrambling for one when you need it. Especially in times like this where every day brings more unknown. I know some dealers have closed their doors but maybe that is only to sales and not repairs.

Just stay with a good name brand and you'll be fine. I've always liked Duracell.. for my 2013: CR 2032 (note: if it's a duracell battery, it will be a DL 2032 )

I bought a couple of them from the dollar store. Sunbeam is the brand. I just keep them in the glovebox. I've had the car for a year, no issues.
