Easy solution I learned years back, when I got tired of being late since I couldn't find the *&^%$ Keys!
Bought a wooden "Key Garage", mounted on the wall by the front door (though garage door would be better for some). Come into the house, hang the key up on a hook in the "garage", leaving house, take key with you.
Easy habit to learn, and I never have to wonder WTF my keys are.
On Amazon search for: Wood Wall Mount Key Box

The Camry can hold a 10’ 2x4 with the trunk closed—try that with any modern “mini” SUV (which isn’t as “U”tilitarian, IMHO). Anyway, my Lexus keys ended up falling out of my pocket and into the side of the drivers seat. I eventually found them there.

My wife won’t give up her wagon. We’ve used it for everything, It has a flat/vertical hatch hence the cargo area can actually hold more and bigger square boxes. Ever look at the slant of the Lexus RX? How do you put in a tall, square box? Plus a third row seat for little ones. And being a lower roof with a rack, it is easy to put things on and carry. Dunno what it is about SUVs these days. I’m a sedan guy, but we’re not giving up her Camry Wagon (just “UV”, no sport.)

Thanks, y’all!
I know how your wife feels about the wagon we had one for 20 years and put 400 thousand kilometres on it and it still drove like it was brand new (3LT V6 ) 4spd auto dam fine car was made here in Australia as well.
Had heavy duty shocks and springs fitted managed to fit about 900kg in the back one day when we were doing some fencing lol.
