Default Anyone running Pirelli P7 cinturato all season plus tires on their es 350?

My 2016 ES350 came with a set of Michelin's on it. The tires only have 21k miles on them but I hear more road noise then I would like in a Lexus. My previous Lexus an 04 LS430 had the Pirellis that I put on and it was smooth and quiet as a mouse. I am pretty confident that the P7s will eliminate most of my current road noise.....just want to check if anyone else already has them.

I'm running the P7's Plus on my ES. I put them on in Nov. of 2016.. they replaced a set of bridgestone turanza which I absolutely hated. My P7's are still running smooth and quiet... but I have only put about 20K miles on them in the last 3 and a half years.... I've got a buddy that has an ES with a set of Yokohama Avid Ascend tires on his car and he loves them.. I have Yokohama tires on my truck and they're great but I think for my ES i'd stick with either Perilli's or Michelins.

I ran Michelin Primacy MXV4 tires on my '14 ES 350 for 60k miles then replaced them last fall with Pirelli Cinturato P7 Plus. After 5k miles, I would rate the Pirellis as similar to the Michelins in road noise but noticeably better on wet traction. Road noise is very dependent on the highway surface type. I doubt any tire changes will make your ES as quiet as your LS.

Hey guys thanks for the replies. The Michellins that came on my car are in good shape and only have 21k on them. You are correct that the road surface is a big contributor to the road noise especially in this car compared to my old school LS430. Ironically you are reporting better wet traction with the P7s and the was supposed to be the P7s one fault in consumer reports review as compared to others and Michellins. I probably wont get a huge improvement by switching to the P7s but I liked those tires so much on my last car it just might be worth making the switch and selling my old Michellins for a couple of hundred bucks.

i got about 45k on them and they are needing to be replaced. other than the low mileage, they were a great tire for comfort and noise.

I agree with Nelexus88. I have the Pirelli P7 and I have also used the Michelins. Noise wise it is hard to tell them apart. The Turanzas are junk. Cannot compare an LS430 with an ES350. The LS will be MUCH quieter and smoother.

Do you have the 17" or 18" Wheels?

For what it's worth, Michelin Defender > Primacy in just about all aspects imo.

Yes I like the Defender alot too. One of if not the best tires in the rain. Last a long time too. They don't make the Defender in 18". The Primacy wears out way to fast for the price.

Pirellis were on my used 2013 when i purchased it, loved the ride, i put new p7s on in may 2020 ,i hear noise, and can't recall if I heard the same noise with the original Pirelli
i dont remember which pirells were on the car when i bought it ,but i think the p7s are a bit noisy.
