Default Beatsonic CarPlay unit

Hi i have searched on the forum and i see some other sections in the forum that have had and installed the unit on there other cars but haven't found anyone that is here that installed it in there 2016-2018 ES with navigation and im hoping that someone is here that can tell me how they like it if its not up to par or disappointing for them or if its good for them.
id rather have someone i can ask specific questions before spending 500-600 dollars to buy it plus having it installed

I've been waiting for them to come out with their "wireless" Android Auto / CarPlay unit. I'm planning on buying it when (if?) it comes out. I'm interested in the Android Auto part of it myself.

As for performance, I haven't seen anyone actually give a good, full demonstration of it in action. I watched everything related to it on YouTube serval months back, and it looks good, but none of it was really in-depth.

I got the front camera kit from them, and I'm happy with it. So I'm assuming the Android Auto / CarPlay kit should be decent as well.

I was thinking of doing the smartphone mirroring kit, but I made my own with a similar set-up to what they are offering & found the video quality to be too poor for my liking. The Android Auto / CarPlay system hooks up a bit differently. And the YouTube videos seem to show a good quality video feed with this kit -so that's definitely good & promising.

I'd like to hear some personal reviews of it here too. Hopefully someone chimes in.

i decided not to get the carplay i decided to get the DVD navigation screen lockout bypass unit from them paid 189 on carid for it and going to instal it when it shows up next week or the week after
figured you know i was only doing it to have better access to maps but i just bought a map sd card update earlier this year and if i can get the system to let me access to the grayed out areas like when driving i can do a search for the web on the factory nav for location where i want to go and it will find it i never liked how in rental cars carplay would tell me after i would scroll through about 10 songs that i cant scroll anymore to use voice when i can do that anwyas through the car navi unit so just went with the unlock option device

I decided not to go with the apple CarPlay I ended up deciding id rather go with the Beatsonic Nav DVD in motion bypass because I can search the went for destinations and I can already browse through music and tell speak what I want to listen to I'm only going to have the car for another year or two so figured why put around 600 into something that might not need in a year or two when the next car will probably have car play so the beat-sonic Bypass Navi Dvd module came on Friday Wednesday took me about 20 minute to install it and it works great

Your posts are difficult to read as you do not use punctuation. Try using a period at the end of a sentence. Makes it easier to know when the sentence ends...
