Default AC evap drain location

Would someone please explain the exact location where the AC drain hose is under a 2018 ES 350? Pics would be helpful but not necessary. I need to do an AC refresh service. Thank you!

It is on the right side of the car a little forward from the front passenger door.

Finding the drain should be fairly easy. Just park the car on a fairly level service and let the air conditioner run for a while. Then, check to see where the water is dripping from. Finding the spot might be even easier if you place a piece of cardboard under the general area where the drain is. Then, you can locate the drain by looking above the wet area on the cardboard.

If you are planning to use the Toyota air conditioner refresh kit, though, I don't think that you put the contents of the first can into the drain. It goes into a different opening that is more toward the middle of the car.

ok, thanks. Yes, I intend to use the Toyota refresher spray kit. Do you know exactly where or have a pic? Thanks again!

I just know that it is near the middle of the car just beyond the firewall. It is a sort of L-shaped fitting that sticks out about an inch or inch and a half. I have seen pictures in the on-line tutorials for using the refresher kit.

Might I ask what is the specific issue that makes you want to use the refresher kit?

It's got that 'dirty socks' smell especially when the fresh air intake is open. The smell isn't too strong but it is lessen when the AC is on but a little stronger when ac/heat is off and fresh air intake is open. I did the Lysol trick in the outside fresh air intake (with cabin filter removed) then replaced the filter. That helped a bit but I think it needs a thorough cleaning.
