Default 2015 ES 350 'Floats' at high speed, difficult to maintain position in lane

2015 ES 350 w/ 100k miles. I've noticed recently that the vehicle tends to feel like it is being driven on a windy day, but there is no wind. I've tried changing to sport mode but did not notice a difference.

At a stoplight with the wipers on high, the entire car shakes a little each time the wiper hits the edge of the windshield.

Any suggestions?

With 100k on the clock I'd have the tie rods checked. Worn tie rods allow wheel play... Also check tire inflation.

I would get the alignment checked which should also include an inspection of the steering system, worn ball joints, tie rods, etc. Tire pressures and wear will also effect the way a car drives. You might try rotating the tires to see if the problem changes which would indicate a tire issue.

Your wipers should not hit the edge of the windshield (A pillar) when they operate. Someone may have installed them incorrectly if they were removed for other work.

I’d be very careful driving the car. If nothing has been changed then you probably need new ball joints, outer tie rods and sway bar links. .. but you can start by getting your wheel alignment checked. Of course if you decide to change these parts you’ll have to get another wheel alignment.

If nothing has been changed in your suspension, likely you need to change your front struts at least (unless roads are excellent by you) and everything else in that system.
