Default ML OEM Subwoofer Replacement

2013 ES 350 Question:

Hey guys does anyone know if a replacing the OEM ML sub is difficult? Mine blew and I want to keep the sub in the same place, is it hard to replace with another 6.75 sub?

I did some research but I don’t have a clear answer if I have to remove the rear deck in order to replace the sub on this model? If so I am better off just doing a custom set up?

All your knowledge on this subject is greatly appreciated!

If you get another sub, the sound will definitely be different from what came with the car. Is your vehicle still under warranty?

If so, get the dealer to fix it.

I don't think any extended warranty would cover a blown subwoofer.

My wife's car had a blown driver speaker and it was covered under CPO.

my sub was cracking and hissing on my 2014es350 with ML sound system, disconnect the factory sub and installed a aftermarket sub and woofer in the trunk. Much better than stock , also you need a good line out convertor for your rca's.... I went with a LC2i from audio control
