Default need some recommendations..

Looking to purchase 6th gen es350 for my father. He currently has 3rd gen es and its time to change the aging car for him thus, I need some recommendations. Any defects or issues (major and minor) I should look out for? Any issues with the transmission or motor? Thanks guys.

No major issues as far as I've heard. It is a Lexus.

No major issues, plenty of clean ones for sale out there. Just a matter of choosing one with the options he wants and the color combo. Id go with an es350 not hybrid that has a clean car fax, no accidents. Best to get a pre purchase inspection done before buying too. Good luck!

All good suggestions and recommendations. I had a 2013 that never went back to the dealer for anything except state inspections... Highly recommend an ES 350. GOOD LUCK!

I concur on the es350, it has a silky smooth v6 that pulls nicely and a traditional trans non cvt.

Nothing major. The only thing I have heard or had an issue is with was with one of the door locks not locking. The dealer fixed it for me. Just make sure the fob locks all doors and keyless entry works on all doors.

Avoid accident history of large repair costs from front end collisions and get a PPI. If both pass, consider it well. =)

Something to consider involving switch away from 3G. I don't have any interest in Lexus Enform, but might affect your decision.
