You should check the VID, it may have been built in Japan like my 2013 was. Everything since about then have been US-built.
It may not make a significant difference, but it would be an interesting fact.

If it is 2014 then it was built in Japan and the vin will start with “J”

Yes, Lexus did not start building the ES in the US until the 2016 model year.

Just bought a 2014 ES 350 with 85K miles for 15K about a month ago. It has blind-spot, parking assist, leather. heated/cooled seats, heated wheel, sunroof. Drove it home from western OH and on several 200 mile round trips, No issues or problems. I think I got a good deal.

going to look at it on saturday, a little leary that it's at a kia dealership with chinese tires on it

Thats definitely not an ultra. Think the ultra is also the only one that has a power close button in the trunk. Also has 3 way adjustable seat buttons on the passenger side as well as the drivers.
