Default Aftermarket HID headlights low beam

One low beam headlight is on its way out (flickering). Any recommendations for quality aftermarket HID bulbs? Perhaps from Amazon? Not thrilled about the one option at AutoZone ($150 per bulb), but I do want something of quality that will last a long time.

I just bought the Philips D4S X-Treme Vision Gen2 from eBay. $150 for Both. They are suppose to be Brighter also. They are a little brighter. Don't know if its not just because they are Newer. They were cheaper because they were open box returns. I verified they they were not fake but the real Philips X-Tream Vision.

I had the same problem. One of my bulbs was starting to flicker sometimes. I replaced both. I'm happy with them.

I like the sound of X-Treme and Gen2. I ordered a single Philips D4S Standard Authentic Xenon for $45 from Amazon. If I like it, I'll order another one--unless somehow it miraculously matches the other working bulb. But if it's not bright enough, I'll return it and look into getting a pair of these X-Tremes.

A year ago I ordered the Philips D4S Standard Authentic Xenon as a spare to keep in the trunk in case one failed. I installed it and it did match the stock.

I went ahead and got the other because I read they were a little brighter and and figured if one went out the other was due to go out also soon, next. The new ones are brighter, the more I drive at night in places I know, the more I can tell.

Hm...sounds like I would like them. I do a lot of night driving. I'll see what ebay's got currently. Thanks for the rec.

Ive been running hid bulbs and kits from ddmtuning for years and love their products. You can choose What color temp, wattage etc... they come with a good warranty, only had to use it once, took a picture of a bad bulb then they sent me a replacement. High quality alternative to expensive oem. Theres so many choices on amazon but its a crap shoot so I just stick with what works best for me.
