Mark Levinson Radio Died
I have a 2015 ES 350 That the radio died in. This happened the same day the battery died. The battery was a Lexus battery. It's bad enough that the radio is not working but the screen is blank as well.Basic functions such as blue tooth and climate control do not work as well. The only thing that works is the back up camera. This is my third Lexus and the first one I have ever had an issue with. The car has 71000 miles on it.
I took it to the dealer six weeks ago where they quoted me $3000 for a new radio. They did say there was nothing wrong with the screen itself but with the radio out the screen would be blank. I contacted Lexus corporate and they agreed to give me a 25% discount. I think this still high, but agreed to it. The issue is they still don't have the radio or a clue as when they are going to get it. I did call Lexus corporate again but they were very unhelpful.
I have been a big a big fan of Lexus to the point that I have talked several people into buying them. At this point I am considering getting a new car as this is just taking to long with no end n sight. I have been looking at cars but will no longer consider a Kexus.

Honestly radio from ebay/junkyard is the way to go. No way paying lexus for a radio is worth it. These seems like a rare failure. There are companies who repair these things as well.

I contacted a local radio store and the manager told me to get the radio from Lexus. He said he had two other customers that had the same issue with the Mark Levinson and got the radios off of eBay. One worked for three weeks and died the second one did not not work at all. He said he could install it.
I wrote an email to Lexus corporate and after a few calls they said they would take 25% off the radio. In the end it cost me $2100 to fix. I do appreciate that Lexus did do something about it.
