Default Gunmetal Wheels

Anyone running gunmetal or graphite colored wheels, particularly on a white car? My winter wheels are going on soon and and Im having my stock UL 18” wheels refinished. May go gunmetal or dark like the f sport wheels, not sure how it would look. I posted in photoshop section but no replies lol.

Thanks

Found these pictures of an es I was looking to buy, they’re 19” es350 f sport wheels.
Clean car but it had parchment interior,
prefer black and it wasnt an UL

Yeah it was super clean but just wasnt optioned how I wanted it. It was definitely the wheels that caught my attention.

If you’re thinking about powder coating, get a swatch first. I tried to get the f sport color on my 5th gen and it turned out much darker.

Yeah its difficult to match up esp dark hypersilver. My wheel guy said its even hard to match up the light hypersilver perfectly but Im doing all four wheels at once so should be ok.

Not 100% on going dark hypersilver since I have all chrome trim and its not a sporty vehicle.

Also there is a clearcoat type option. The local powdercoating place I went to wasn’t very good and didn’t even tell me about it. So I wound up having a matte finish on the wheels which I really didn’t like.

Gotcha, yeah I definitely want high gloss clear coat. Do you have pictures of your wheels or car?

Ah, no. Unfortunately I deleted them recently. Here is a link to the color gallery on the Prismatic Powders website though. The gallery from several years ago had different pics and the wheels actually came out a matte darker graphite color. I had to drive with them for 5 years because you can’t just repowder them-I believe you have to strip the wheel.
