Default Horn in cold weather

Has anyone else had an issue with their horn not sounding right in cold weather? I’ve noticed that when it dips below 45, the sound is much higher pitched and softer than normal. Any suggestions?

No, can't say I've ever noticed any difference in warm or cooler weather.

Did you check to see if anything got into the horns like mice or some kind of blockage?

I can’t see anything and as soon as the outside temp goes above 50 it’s back to normal.

I’m trading up to a 2021 on Friday, so it won’t be my problem for much longer anyway.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Are you aware that there are 2 Horns? A high pitch and low pitch horn.

Temperature has an effect on metal. The colder it gets the less flexible the metal is. So when it’s cold, the horn will sound different. Just like people.
