All buss bars were replaced with new copper plates and we added just a bit dielectric grease. After that we replaced bad cells and put back everything in reverse order.

Good job. I did this on a 2010 RX450h.
The most common reason for the HV battery to fail is the dirty fan filter.

yes i totaly agree air restriction could cause battery cells to fail.but here what i noticed there is no venting tubes on battery cells like on gs model and prius ,just wondering if all those fumes are venting out via trunk are thru left and right side behind bumper.i was surprise that levus es model has no safety tubes for venting.

Maybe it is a good idea to add an HV battery filter at the inlet to keep the fan cleaner. The 2013 Lexus ES 300h originally did not have one but Lexus added the filter in later year models. I just added a filter on mine.

I was thinking what will be the best way to keep eye on hybrid battery and found best solution for me.I hope moderators will not get angry for xrossreferencing some hardware and software from other sites.Fist thing was that I had ordered OBDlink lx green device from web.It is blue tooth device which is comunicating btw ecu and your tablet.second i did downloaded apps from google play store for android tablet.OBDASSistant and drPrius .after that i went on line and got live reading of data from hybrid battery. It was great to monitor live temperature sOC state of charge individual voltage of each cell and total power of battery \beside that i was able to generate full report of energy hybrid engine and prety much anything you need for your caR.

AFTER COUPLE DAYS OF TESTING I SEE THAT MY CELL 8 WAS MOST OF THE TIME LOW,NEXT STEP WAS TO START RECONDITIONING HYBRID BATTERY CELLS.IF IS OK BY MODERATORS I WILL POST HARDWARE NAME AND WEB ADDRESS .I bought TWO CHARGERS ABOUT $200 ONE QUAD CHARGER AND ABOUT $100 SINGLE CHARGER.
What is important to mention here is that both chargers are for NiMh battery cells and they are chargers and dischargers and balancer.
;y settings
7500mAh
3Amp max current charging
1Amp max current discharge
80deg upper cutoff temperature limit
lower voltage for discharging 6.3V
cycle 5 times selected
disscharge\charge sequence selected
now i am working on this project and soon will be posting pictures and data
work in progres
