Thanks for the heads up Roland. I always take advantage of these yearly rebates. Noticed the full synthetic went from $11 on a five quart jug to $10. Still a nice savings. Walmart has them for $24.97 so after rebate $14.97 for five quarts. I will be going today to buy two five quart jugs today. The rebate is so easy just take a pic of your receipt upload to online rebate form and takes a minute.

Hey Fred... I just looked at our local walmart on line.. it's not a big difference but the Mobil 1 full synthetic oil in a 5 qt jug is listed at 22.37 a jug and qualifies for a 10 dollar prepaid visa card. But wal mart also has the mobil 1 Extended performance full synthetic listed at 24.37 per 5 quart bottle that qualifies for a $15 dollar prepaid visa. So you could spend $2 more per bottle but get $3 more per bottle in rebates. I'm going to do the same as you, get two 5 quart jugs, but I'm going to get the EP to get the 30 dollar rebate...They often run rebates for using mobil 1 EP oil filters, but I didn't see any listed on their web site.

I bought 2 5 quart jugs this afternoon, took your guy’s advice on the extended drain, submitted rebate, end price should be around $21.91
after the 30 dollar rebate.

Thought the same thing when I got their yesterday and looked at the the two prices. Bought two five quart jugs of the extended. Got home and uploaded the rebate in two minutes. Thanks again for the reminder. My Walmart had the extended for $27 but with the $15 rebate brings it down to $12 for five quarts. One quart of Amsoil is $13.30. It is the law of diminishing returns. Is the Amsoil better maybe but more then five time better!!!
Fred, I've kind of wondered about trying Royal Purple. But the price is just tooooo much. Plus, the truth is I've been using Mobil 1 synthetic oil for YEARS ---- and have not had one oil related breakdown... what is it my daddy used to say? If it aint broke dont fix it. lol.
