Default Radio question 2016 ES350

Sooooooooooo I had Sirius and cancelled it. Everything was fine with Sirius because it filled up my presets and I could scan away. Now that I dont have it......I scan with my steering wheel flipper and after 2 or 3 flips it sends me to the Sirius advertisement channel. The best radio success I have is using the mouse thing on my center console and as much as I love Lexus....I do not love that thing.

Simply overwrite your former Sirius station presets with terrestrial stations.
There is no easy way to "delete" those stations without losing everything else.
If you think you will be re-subscribing eventually just tune in and reset those
XM channels to the higher numbers preset slots, ie. #25 through #36 and then
change the preset count to only show 24. When you reup your subscription
just reenable the preset count to 36.

I have the basics down.....I had all 36 presets full with Sirius and all I had to do was use the steering wheel flipper to flip through all channels.....I am impatient and flip channels all the time. So I cancelled Sirius because I rarely drive my car anymore but when I do I would like to scan channels from my darn steering wheel. I did erase all Sirius channels but I cant delete their advertising channel so what happens is that I flip up channels through one set of presets then when I try to go to more pre sets the Sirius ad channel comes on and it wont let me flip away from it.....its bazaar. The only way I can get back to flipping is to use the console mouse which I hate

When every preset is set to a terrestrial station you should only get the
Sirius propaganda channel 001 if you Mode or Source to Sat.
The steering wheel rocker should just run up or down the presets.

Did you realize the Mode button can be held a bit longer to mute radio or
pause playback sources? Long hold again to unmute or unpause.

Select Station List on AM or FM and in a couple of minutes you will have
a screen with all the various genre of stations in your area. This does not
set presets, just aids in you selections going forward.

Yes exactly.......so I am scanning along in my normal radio stations via the steering wheel flipper and I just keep going up until I find a good song...its a nice luxury to have so many pre sets. But then all of the sudden I scan to that propaganda station and it wont let me keep flipping the steering wheel flipper ...I try up or down but nothing but the propaganda station. So then I have to use the mouse to get me back down to preset #1 and start flipping up again.

ahhhhh u were right!! I rarely drive my car so I still dont know all of the whistles and bells. As it turns out I did store 3 sets of pre sets of normal radio stations BUT BUT BUT.........beyond the 3 sets of presets I did not delete the rest of the old Sirius presets. So today I erased all but the advertisement channel and I believe I am flippin through stations with success.
Thanks

Nice job, advanced class for the multiple sources...you can set the sound settings
to be different for each source. I have the Mark Levinson setup in an ES 300h and
have the treble +2 and midrange +4 for AM (really need the ML for the news!) and
the midrange +2, bass +3 for FM. CD's are almost flat with only treble +1. When
streaming Pandora/iHeart from the phone it is set for treble +4, midrange +2 and
the bass is at 0. Consider leaving the Surround turned off if you like it loud as it
seems to provide a cleaner sound.
