so i found this piece of plastic cover under the glove box
, has “knee airbag” written on it , rattles when hit uneven road , i was thinking of filling some silicon caulk from beneath, do you think airbag would deploy properly. Or i should use some other kind of caulk.
Else can someone tell me how to remove it and i put some felt tape and reassemble it
Thanks
It is a safety system. You do not want to mess with it by putting any adhesive or caulk on it. It needs to work perfectly. Take it to the dealer and get them to replace whatever fastener is loose and causing the rattle. The dealer will charge an arm and a leg, but in this case it is worth it.
