Voice Recognition plays wrong album
I just bought a used 2017 ES350, and I've got my iPhone connected using the USB. When I request "Play album...," the voice recognition recognizes it and repeats the name of the album, but then it plays a different album, consistent to whatever album I requested. So far, I haven't had problems with other categories, such as song, artist, etc. Is there a limit to the number of entries the system can read? I'm totally confused, so any help would be appreciated.

If you are using "Siri Hands Free", then you can talk to the iPhone via the steering wheel controls and things should work fine--via Siri. If you are using the Lexus voice recognition, it seems to work well for music, for me (2014) but finding restaurants, etc., it doesn't do a great job. To use Siri Hands Free, press and hold the "phone off-hook" button to activate Siri, then talk. If you press the Lexus voice control button, you're talking to Lexus instead. (Unless the 2017 is different from the 2014.)

Thanks for the reply. I'm still getting used to the Lexus method of voice recognition, and since it connects to other sources, such as navigation, I wanted to use it primarily.

In case anyone else happens on the same problem, I think I know now how to fix it. Within the iPhone's music app, each category, such as artist, album & playlist, can be sorted different ways. For some reason, the album category on my phone was sorted by recently added, and apparently the Lexus system only reads it as alphabetically, so it referenced the wrong albums. Sorting the phone's album list alphabetically seems to have fixed it.

Thanks for the info!
