So may I ask you some question honestly please?
Is the stretched screen quality issue, and phone call quality issue been completely resolved?
Also how about the need to be reset at the box normally installed in the glovebox?
Still a need for some to use a ground loop isolator inline with the audio connection?
Is the Wireless version available yet?
Let me know if it has, I may buy and install you unit in my GS. (2013 Gs350 with the 2016+ M/L Unit upgrade to full screen) Maybe I missed resolutions in Firmware updates to these things? Thank you.
Screen stretched issue has been resolved 2 years ago. Phone call quality has also been resolved. The box never has to be reseted and our kits don't install in the glove box but behind it. Ground loop isolator is recommended for IS and RC models but not needed for the ES models. Please let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns.

I don't believe he has contacted us yet to troubleshoot, or he may have and not updated the thread. As for his freezing issue, that is not normal and I suggest that he contacts us directly for troubleshooting so that we can go through series of tests to see what the issue is. As for his sound quality issue, his EQ settings may have been altered either in his phone or the vehicle and would also need to be investigated. There's a solution for both of these issues.

Has anyone else added CarPlay to their 2013?
Any thoughts on Nav Tool vs. others?

only one location close to me is willing to install CarPlay for me. 2018 ES350 non Navi.
the unit is ZZ2-IT3LEX17 he quoted me $943.

what do you guys know about this system. It’s a wireless CarPlay and I could have AV playback as well plus mirror.

thanks

Again for the money this is a very good one used by many. Carlinkit. Very easy and simple to install too. The GS and ES Infotainment are about the same. They have a dedicated one for the 6th Gen ES, you just have to tell them which system you have.

My local installers have ZZ2 -IT3 Lex17 for my 2018 model year. He quoted me $943. It is wireless CarPlay as well. It also has cabalities to add an hdmi input like fire stick and could do airplay and watch you tube.
