What have you been doing for MPG recently???
Well started working from home, doing all short 2 to 8 mile trips. Car is a 2014 ES350, was doing 26-27mpg in mixed driving on my 30 mile round trip commute. Haven't put gas in the car in 2 weeks, still have 3/4 of a tank and according to the display I'm doing 18mpg lol. I guess all those short trips where it doesn't warm up is killing my mileage. Just doing straight highway at around 80 gets me 30mpg.
Just as a side note, the 2019 Rav4, FWD, base engine is stupid efficient. Went to visit family for Thanksgiving, dad driving all the way from Nashville to Columbus OH with a heavy right foot doing 85mph or so in Kentucky, that block of cheese in the wind did 33mpg or so. Even in town it was averaging 29-30mpg. And I gotta say that little 4 cylinder was never lacking for power, drove it all the way home from Columbus to Nashville, it closed that gap from that right lane ******* trying to cut in front of the other 10 people trying to pass the slow semi. Any hill it encountered wasn't even felt.
Granted that Rav4 wasn't a rocket ship like my ES350. Yet I never once felt like that small 4 cylinder was caught out, ran out of breath, in the wrong gear, I was seriously impressed at how well that engine/transmission worked together, floored it uphill passing a semi at 60mph, it straight up boogied for a 4 cylinder, especially one hauling a decently sized 3500lb suv shaped like a brick.

Toyota's new SUV mpg number are definitely impressive. I've always felt the same about their 4 cylinders, fast enough for me!
As for my vehicle, I have a 2013 ES300h with ~135k miles and I get anywhere between 33-36 MPG depending on how I drive. Pretty happy with that considering how old the car is!

My 2013 ES has about 55K miles on it... I get around 24 to 25 mpg mixed city / highway. On longer runs, driving around 75 mph or so, the on board computer will show me getting 31, sometimes 32 mpg.. As for SUV mileage, I also have a 2010 Toyota 4 Runner that is right at 90K miles on it... It has the 4.0 six cylinder engine. Love the vehicle, not crazy about the gas mileage, Normally I get about 19 mpg, and if I'm towing our boat it drops to 16 to 17 mpg.

I just did a mpg check this morning after a highway only drive here in the northeast. Winter isn’t a good time for mpg up here, because of crappy reformulated “winter” gas, and the engine running richer due to the cold weather.
Driving very conservatively at 68-70 mph, our 2018 ES350 got 26 mpg today.
Oh, and mpg calculated from fill up to fill up, not going by what the car’s estimate says (although it’s usually pretty close).

Although BG makes some good stuff, 44k shouldn’t make a difference for an 3.5 that’s running well. Top tier fuels should contain enough detergents to keep your injectors nice and clean.
If your car is getting poor mpg, it’s probably more of an issue than a fuel injector cleaner will fix. How’s your misfire count and LTFT?

Every manufacturer without exception recommends against adding fuel additives as they are not necessary if one uses a name brand fuel. Top tier being the optimum...

also, how do you explain when some authorized Lexus/Toyota dealers recommend fuel
system cleaners and most use BG products?
I know its upsell and often times not necessary, but they would not be doing something that is against manufacture.

you have a quote from es350 manual that says no fuel system cleaner? Maybe they say additives, its not the same

FYI - there is no rear diff in an ES 350...
