Thumbs up Location of PCV valve on 2013 es 300h and replacement.

Hi there after a lot of research to find location of PCV valve on this ES 300h hybrid model it was pain butt was sucessfull at the end. Engineers of ES model they must be on something when they design this model. My Rx 450 h has PCV valve on top valve cover , replacement was about 3 min . My GS 450 h model was a bit tight but still about 10 min.
This model ES 300 h HYBRID ....OMG. LoL lol. About 55 min .

Let's start with shoving location of PCV valve on ES 300h ,also location is same like on TOYOTA CAMRY 2013 and PRIUS 2010.All those cars have same location of PVC valve .On the shop manual picture you can see part number and location of PCV valve.

10 mm socket or wrench will be ok to use to remove plastic cover and metal bracket holding cable which you can see on the next picture

Before you remove holding cable bracket disconnect plug for sensor as you can see here .Take your time slowly remove plug DO NOT USE TO MUCH FORCE TO BREAK IT .Reason for this step is to get again more room for working envelope around PCV valve.

This black bracket holding cable must be removed too.we have used 10mm wrench to remove small bolt holding the bracket

Next step was very touchy , slowly try to remove hose with clip from PCV valve. In our case was easy but if you have issue use pliers or both hands if you can fit there.Take your time .DO NOT BRAKE THE HOSE .If hose is very hard than we suggesting to replace the hose with new PCV valve too .

Remember it's very tight spot .I was giving loud opinions about Lexus ES engineers during this process, just venting out your anger is good to do at this step.

When you detach hose from PCV valve than 50% job is done

Finally hose was removed .This time you can inspect hose for any cracks or if hose is not flexible you have to replace this U shape hose too In our case hose was still ok no cracks .

Finally hose is out .here you can see that clip was still on the hose at this stage we turned clip to be facing bottom for easy reinstall and future removal

Here is bad boy ,hidden behind intake mainfold box .Here we are proudly presenting hidden PCV valve location on 2013 Lexus ES 300h.LOL BEST HIDDEN SPOT ON CAR TO HIDE VALVE OR SENSOR.LOL

Next step was to figured out which configuration was best to remove PCV valve. We have used 19 mm socket

Quick reminder here ,first socket we try was not deep enough ,so we went with impact socket which was way deeper.

Here you can see the size of each one ,one on the right side was used to remove PCV valve in our case
