Seat Heater Timers
#16
While local units are bold, alternate are displayed. Nobody else has commented that their seat heaters auto-off, which you are asking about, and, if there is nothing in your manual about such a setting then perhaps it would be wise for you to talk to a service consultant.

I’m not the first to ask about this. Doing a little digging and found other threads asking them same question. I timed it today and it cuts off at exactly 15mins after turning it on every single time, so it’s programmed to do it.

Now that I know yours isn’t doing it, I’m just trying to figure out why some cars don’t, and some do. So far I’ve found that there are different modules for the heater for CA and US, so that may be the difference.

It's been doing it in the normal mode, as we don't use eco. I haven't tried using Sport yet, and I've just ordered a bluetooth dongle for OBDII. I've looked in Techstream and haven't found the option.
I did also find under the customization section of settings an "auto air conditioning" and turned it off. I doubt that's it, but I'm going to give it a shot this evening when it's cool enough to run with seat heaters. This Alabama heat ain't no joke.

I’ve had my 2014 for 4 1/2 years, and the heaters have always stayed on and only gets too hot when it’s not too cold outside, approx above 40 F / 5 C. I use the heater all the time for my bad back , so lots of experience using the heater.
On a recent long trip , for the first time, the heater shut off by itself repeatedly. Turning off fir a few minutes(didn’t time it) and turning on again seat heats up.
I drive in sport mode on the highway so no idea if that makes a difference.
maybe big brother at Lexus saw my earlier post and changed the setting remotely….lol.
