Brake Caliper Mounting Bolts vs Caliper Mounting Bracket Bolts
Hi. I'm a newbie trying to do some brake work on my car (replacing brake pads and rotors). I got a 13 ES 350. I found some brake torque specs, but I'm confused about the terms. Can someone please explain the difference between "brake caliper mounting bolts" and "caliper mounting bracket bolts?" I'm sorry if it's a stupid question.
Brake caliper mounting bolts are the bolts that mount the caliper to the bracket. Caliper mounting bracket bolts, are the bolts that mount the bracket to the spindle. So the first mounts the caliper to the bracket and the second mounts the bracket to the spindle.
