Hello All,
After last heavy rains, I noticed that there is a water under rear seat on passenger side of my 2013 ES350.
It looks like it came from roof/sunroof and thru rear pillar, most behind rear seat and some into trunk....
The car was parked on a slight incline.
I have checked the sunroof drains (2 on front corners of the sunroof) and they appear to be clog free and drain water.
When car is facing downward on that incline (my driveway) it appears that sunroof passes water test and no water gets inside.
Did test and yes, when parked on incline facing up - showering water on roof - produced pool of water under passenger side rear seat and a wet spot on rear pilar cover inside.
Does our generation of ES have rear water drains for sunroof ?
Will replacing sunroof seal fix this issue ( I was parking same way for 5 years and never had this problem before) ?
Can someone recommend a shop that can do seal replacement in North East ATL metro area ?
car has 99K miles and no other issues would be shame if I had to replace it in this market....
Thank you.

I am not sure replacing seals will help. Like you said, the water is supposed to drain. In my 2014 water comes into the channels even in a car wash but drains away. Best bet would be to check with a dealer?

I don't know if this will be of any help to you, but not long after I bought my 2013 ES350, I ran into a similar issue. I had owned the car for some time when one afternoon after a strong storm rolled thru the area I noticed water pooled up on each side of the dash board near the A pillars. I took the car back to the dealership who later told me that the drain tubes ( if that's the right description ) weren't connected. When I asked if that was the case, why hadn't this problem appeared before.. The answer I got was pretty vague... something like well depending on how hard it rained, was the car parked on a steep incline ( which it was not )... So I don't know if what they told me was accurate but I do know that after that one occurrence, it never happened again.

another update, so all the drain tubes have been passed thru with some line and appear to be training well.
So next challenge is to dry out carpet padding under rear passenger "feet" ....
Any suggestions that do no involve removing front seats and pulling whole floor carpet out ??

on my 2013 ES350 they are not all the way in the back of sunroof box, but almost there (hard to see) , then go out thru C-pillars into trunk and drain right behind wheel arches.
You can access then in the trunk by pulling the material that covers the sides of the trunk.
You'll need to remove one bolt and 2 plastic pins on each side to be able to get there.
Each tube terminates into a rubber transition thingy...
