Default Steering wheel leather?

I hate the wood steering wheels. I have been purchasing the universal covers from the parts stores, but I want something that looks oem. Is there a product made to just cover the wooden sections that would look factory? I don’t want it to have the cost of replacing the entire wheel.

Ha, ha. One reason I bought my ESh was because of the wooden steering wheel! I still love that about the car.

To each his own.

You may try to get a wheel from a scrapyard. That is the only way it will look OEM.

Agree 100%. Bamboo steering wheels in our RX and ES are beautiful and in today's market unique. All about the $$$$.

Yes, I love the "real" steering wheel where you can SEE the wood. The current gen ES is stupid and not worth calling a wood steering wheel. You can never get the feel of the wood and it is on the inside so you can't see it from outside the car.

It used to be "see the wood" and know it was a luxury car. But now you can't see the wood. Lexus advertises that it is a fully heated steering wheel. Probably so, but the real [hidden] reason is so they can put sensors all around and know if/when you are holding the steering wheel so the alarms can go off. (my two cent opinion)

I like holding my 2014 ES wood steering wheel at 10 and 2 o'clock positions.
