Headrest issue
I've searched through the forums and seen people complain about the headrests in newer cars. No good solutions since these headrests are not adjustable other than going up and down. I've had back issues a good part of my life and in particular neck issues. I'm getting to the point where I have fixed many of my issues and now the car seat is really beginning to bother my neck.
I was wondering if a 2012 or some other Lexus (or other vehicle's) headrests that don't angle forward as much would fit. Wondering if anyone has gone that route and had any success at all.
I did purchase a neck pillow to see what happens, but I'm skeptical it will work.
Any other suggestions or thoughts?

Car sests are designed to prevent your head from snapping back in a collision. They're not meant to use as head or neck rest. You're gonna have to modify your car or replace the seat

My understanding is that the current "restraint" systems are designed so that the head is not far from the headrest. People have terrible posture and their heads are pushed forward. Possibly due to a number of factors such as computer/cellphone use, sedentary lifestyles, etc. I was one of those people but have been actively working to fix the problems. Now I can't sit in my car comfortably.
So I can't say the designs are bad, but they seem to be designed for people with bad posture.
Would be nice if they were simply adjustable so that we don't have to ruin our postures to be comfortable and we don't discourage people from improving their posture.
I'll get off my little soap box now.

[QUOTE=Tootsall;11367920]Quick question…have you checked p.162 of your manual?
I had not seen this, but I pulled and pushed on it when I first got it, but it didn't move at all. I will check again when the car is back tomorrow.
This is encouraging though. If it does not, then there may be some place I can purchase a couple and replace the ones I have.
