2019 ES Gets Prettier Exterior and Tech Upgrades

Debuting at the 2018 Beijing Auto Show and at a seaside resort outside of Los Angeles is this new iteration of the ES that gets an F Sport option, better proportions and some power under the hood.

Is this a new color?

 

I'll answer my own question. The press release for the Beijing introduction mentions a new color, Ultra Sonic Blue Mica 2.0 exclusively for the new ES350 F Sport. I wonder if this new model can live up to its color name which promises a lot (Super Sonic is 768 MPH, so Ultra Sonic should be faster).

 

The 2019 look fine but it doesn't quite scratch the itch for me.
1. Still no android auto
2. It look like only the F model comes with an all leather steering wheel.

Hopefully the new hybrid will have significantly better acceleration but since there was very little info other than slightly better mpg I'm going to guess they didn't fix that as I think that would be big news.

 

Lower to the ground.....of course. Count me out.
