When using "AC-On/Off" voice command on my Lexus ES 300h 2022, the system turns on/off fan instead, regardless of AC position. It even replies "AC is already on" when AC is off and the fan is working. Wondering if this a bug on all Lexuses or is it just my vehicle?

Best I can figure, my 23 decides on its own when to engage the AC compressor and I don’t have any control over it.

This happens when climate control is set to auto. And I am using manual setting.

It's on all the time on AUTO even in winter from what I've seen in four years of driving this car.

I don’t run mine in auto mode. I set the fan to the speed I want and select which vents I want to run. How do I manually turn the AC compressor on and off? Because best I can figure, it decides on its own.

You can turn it off by going into the climate settings on the right side screen. Uncheck the AC button.

Maybe I’m dense but I thought this setting just allows AC to operate when system is in auto mode. I don’t see a way to manually turn AC on and off?

Perhaps the system has been updated since 2019 - I'll post a picture from mine later and show you.

You have a 2023 ES with the completely new for 2023 "Lexus Interface" multimedia system. Prior model years have/had the "Lexus Multimedia System". While there's some similarities in controls between the two systems there's also a whole lot of differences especially in the user interface presentation and operation.
