Yep the rear is the new blade design with LEXUS spelled out. Looks just like the 5GenRX.

I don't believe those are authentic. All they are is the current model with a Toyota grille and a facelifted rear fascia Photoshopped onto them. I'd bet money they'll at least reconfigure the rear quarter window line.

The goods news is that if those pics are even close to reality, our aging 7GENs will continue to look pretty new for many years to come.

Yep. I think that will be true regardless.

After owning and burning my hands with an Audi, the Lexus ES350 2023 has a refined engine and is a pleasure to drive. I also have the RX350h for my wife and, honestly, I'm not too fond of how that engine is built. You can spin the story anyway but the 4-cyl hybrid with electric motors does sound like a vacuum. It's really sad Lexus is doing away with the v6's. Next year my car will be paid off and I'll be keeping it for years to come. The only thing I dislike about my es vs the Rx is the gear shifter. I somehow like the electronic shifter over the legacy one that exists in the ES.

Now if the 2025 is redesigned and has a v6, I may have a seriously thought of switching it

It's a tradeoff - we have the RX350h as well getting nearly 40 mpg with a 4,300 lb vehicle - no complaints. In most cases, the darn thing is silent - yeah push it on a hill and there's some growling - doesn't bother me a bit.

We like the hybrid as well especially when it starts and drives 100% silent, but the moment you enter the freeway, that annoying sound. its not that bothersome but I seem to never take that car over the es350

Maybe the constant engine sound while acceleration.

I don't get it, all cars rev up during the acceleration.

Yes they do, but Toyota 4-cylinders have received a lot of criticism for the harsh and coarse sound they can make on hard use like full acceleration. Quiet at cruise, perhaps, especially when well insulated, when pushed they can sound cheap and too rough, especially for a Lexus. It probably doesn’t matter to the owner of a RAV-4 but put that exact same engine in a Lexus and now it does matter to many buyers.

I don’t like fours to begin with, but I have credit the German makes for building much smoother fours that sound and feel much better across the entire rev band. Toyota can and should do a lot better.
