Where Are All The F Sport Design ES 350’s?
I’m really pleased that I can now buy a more “sporty” ES 350 without having to pay for all the handling and performance extras that come with the full F Sport with handling package. I just like the looks of the F Sport. BUT I see very few of those F Sport Design models actually in dealers’ inventories. Am I looking in the wrong places or are they just not making many for fear they won’t sell well? Anyone know? Incidentally, I see BMW is doing the same thing with just an “M Appearance Package” and I think Mercedes is, too.

Some might say there's a supply chain issue obtaining the FSport badges

Now that I think of it, that’s a lot of money for a few badges! (Yes, I know what’s all included. I’m just being sarcastic). But it really isn’t much for the extra money. I’d like to see the 350 IS color Infra Red be available for the 350 ES Design. Then I think I’d spend for it.

FYI the handling package is more firm than a standard ES even on the normal setting. So if you like the soft ride, the appearance package is all you want anyways.

Right, but is it worth the extra expense over the plain ES? That’s my question. Badges, blackened wheels and $200 spoiler. That’s about all, I guess.

Nicer cluster, grill, seats, overall appearance is what I wanted from it. I likely would not have purchased the non FSport ES.

Sport seats? Never liked how sport seats they hit my hip during entry. Regular ES seats have no raised sides to hit. Are yours any softer and more padded than my very firm ES seats. I’m really surprised at how firm mine are. Never saw anything like it!

Its surprising how much difference a little difference makes on a long drive.

I enjoy my F sport seats. They are designed in a way that fits my body really well and I appreciate the extra bolstering that's provided. I find the F sport seats to be comfortable, especially on longer trips, and I don't feel any fatigue after longer rides unlike some vehicles where I find myself adjusting my seating within half an hour (I admit I do have poor posture though).

I think the handling package is worth it. I do spirited driving every blue moon. I did so today and it’s worth it. I’d say test drive an F Sport handling ES before buying a F Sport design to be sure.

It’s worth it in my opinion. My F Sport is a 22, so there wasn’t an option for an F Sport Design when I got my car. But I’m pretty sure I would have gotten a F Sport Handling if I bought a 23. To me a Lexus is a “treat yourself” car so I wanted both performance and luxury when I bought my car, which is why I say I’ll never buy another brand new ES when they drop the V6 engine.

I would say F Sport on any Lexus model is worth it for the seats and headliner alone.
