Default '23 ES300h Michelin "Energy Saver A/S" ...ugh!

Our '23 300h Luxury came with Michelin "Energy Saver A/S" which have the reassuring grip that my late Dad's '57 Caddy had wallowing through a nice curve. I won't cry when it's time to replace them, I just can't justify doing it now. Anybody else have these lovely sneakers on their ES?

I had them, and replaced with Michelin Primacy 4.

I have them on my 2020 and like them but also don't take curves super fast. Have others that have switched can you tell a mpg difference.

Tire Rack did a test between various low resistance tires and normal all seasons. There was a very minimal difference like around 1 mpg as I recall, depending on the tire.

Interestingky the softer tires get better MPG which I would have assumed those with stiffer sidewalls would do better but no.

I offed mine at 200 miles and got back half the cost by selling them on Craiglist.

Have them on my 22 ES350 UL and no complaints… quiet and comfortable.

Consider yourself lucky. You got the better of the two options. Many of us get stuck with the Bridgestones.

I have them on my 23 ES350 UL with no complaints here in sunny CA. Will most likely replace them with Primacy 4’s when it’s time.

They are quiet and comfortable, and in Atlanta or California you can get away with their compromised traction. In the Snow Belt, not so much.

I got rid of them at about 30K miles even though they were only halfway worn. It was nearing winter and I learned pretty quickly that their grip was not sufficient for even light snow. Otherwise, they were comfortable and quiet.

I had them on my 2021 ES300h #1, and 2021 ES300h #2. All 8 tires were fine and quiet, but yes they do squirm under load and feel like they have a light coating of olive oil on them.

My Current 20" Goodyears though, despite being all seasons, have very strong grip. Helps having professional all wheel drive.

It's all wheel drive as described by a self-aggrandizing poster who's accidentally still lingering on the wrong carmaker's discussion board.
