this is too bad that there are hardly any Town Car feel seats left any more.

I hate to say this, but one car that's praised for soft seating is Nissan with "zero gravity" seats.

Again, purely subjective. The RX listed below in my signature, I bought for myself. Drove it two weeks, couldn't get comfortable, and gave the keys to my wife. Instantly melted in the ES seats. Now we're both happy.

Great advice.
I did this technique today . I asked for a nice long test drive in a UL with leather seats. Then I asked to sit in the car a while longer when back in the lot , and just surfed my phone while giving myself more time to try out the seat. Also sat on a nuluxe in a different car for a while. In the end I still liked the leather better, and also the features with the lux/ UL.

Went ahead and bought a 2023 ES 300h UL package!

After buying, I drove around all afternoon, for about 3 hours and felt fine. The seats are firm but to me supportive. I like having the 4 way lumbar over my past 2 way on older ES.
The seat bottom felt ok to me, firm yes, but cushy enough and not painful. I hope it stays that way and I dont later start feels bars and things!! Fingers crossed.
I'm fairly short so havent so far felt the need to use the seat extender. So far its better and more comfortable than my 2016 ES was.
Other than seat, the car is great!!! The new features and tech are awesome! With the UL I like the fully loaded feature assortment. The only thing I dont have is ML, but to get the color scheme I want, that was the sacrifice.

This turned out to be a known problem with the seat bar, there is a service bulletin to fix that for 2019 models.

Do you have the TSB number for that one? I never saw it.

I tried searching and couldn't find it. I swear this was an issue just on early builds, there was something about the seat frame and the bar and some people could feel it. I guess ignore my comment because I can't back it up with a source LOL

I'm guessing you mean you bought a 2023?

Congratulations!

The 2023 F sport seats are very cozy. Similar design as in the LC500 just not the real leather. Im satisfied.

I find the new generation of Lexus seats too firm.
Or perhaps I'm just getting too old???

In my new to me 2019 Lexus. I feel this bar on my seat within minutes of driving. Has anyone seen anything about a recall in these?
